We started Meinsalonspace Academy after seeing too many talented entrepreneurs avoid their numbers. Not because they were careless, but because financial reports felt abstract, overwhelming and disconnected from day-to-day decisions.
Our work is to turn those reports into clear, grounded stories about cash, profit and capacity – using the real numbers from your business, not textbook examples.
From anxious to grounded
Most participants join with a sense of “I should know this by now”. Our goal is to replace that with calm, repeatable practice.
The academy grew out of conversations with founders who were brilliant at product, clients and teams – but who felt they were always “behind” on their numbers. Board packs arrived late. Finance meetings drifted. Important decisions were made with a mix of instinct and anxiety.
We saw that the problem wasn’t intelligence. It was the way financial concepts were being taught: in dense slides, abstract models and ratio formulas that never quite made it into real conversations.
That became the foundation of Meinsalonspace Academy: a place where financial fluency is built the same way as any other leadership skill – through repetition, reflection and real-world feedback.
Three principles shape every cohort, session and tool inside the academy.

Founder & Lead Facilitator
Alex has spent over a decade working with Australian founders on pricing, cash flow and investor conversations. Meinsalonspace Academy grew out of those long whiteboard sessions in meeting rooms across Melbourne and Sydney.
Learning Design Lead
Sophia designs the practice flows, prompts and reflection tools inside the academy. Her background mixes learning design, data storytelling and executive coaching.
Cohort Coach
Matt supports leaders as they apply the tools between sessions: refining dashboards, shaping board packs and turning insights into concrete next steps.
Most cohorts bring together six to ten leaders from different sectors – technology, services, construction, e-commerce and more. Everyone works with their own numbers while learning from each other’s patterns and decisions.
